Below are hand drawn, to-scale (1”=5′) Site Analysis & Assessment maps. These are two of ten Site A&A maps that I create to help us better understand different characteristics of the land we are working with.
The map on the left illustrates peoples’ access & circulation of the land.
The map on the right illustrates the climatic aspects of the land.
Using the Site A&A maps and client preferences, I sketch out some design possibilities for their piece of land.
Our main objectives are to keep it simple and to utilize plants that they already have.
New plants fall under the following: deer-resistant, native, edible, and/or perennial.
